Last week was Issue No. 1. The response told me everything I needed to know.

Writers showed up. Writers shared it. Writers slid into my DMs with questions about specific festivals, about whether their script was ready, about which one made the most sense for where they are right now. That is exactly what The Call Sheet is supposed to do.

So here we are. Week two. Let’s get into it.

This week I am tracking five competitions with open submission windows worth your attention right now, a few closing before the end of June that need to be on your radar today, and a few fellowships for writers who are ready to make a real move.

One quick note before we dive in. If you shared Issue No. 1 with a writer friend, thank you. That is how this grows, and that is how we eventually get to the part where I am building relationships with festivals directly to bring you discounts, fee waivers, and opportunities you cannot find anywhere else. Every share gets us closer to that.

Places, everyone.

Just like your script, these competitions are worth the long game. This week I am tracking five open submission windows with deadlines far enough out to actually breathe, plan, and submit your best work.
